Calibre Associates replaced the Astra and Elementor stack with a hand coded theme carrying zero page builder dependency, including a connection aware hero video that serves SD, MD, or HD quality based on real measured network speed, plus native scroll reveal and sticky navigation built without an animation library. The Google Business Profile phone number was corrected to match the site, Yelp, and Nextdoor, HomeAndConstructionBusiness and Organization schema was rebuilt alongside a hand built FAQPage schema, and the service area was synced from 6 to all 11 towns with the services list expanded from 6 to 18 categories. Real device testing on an iPhone surfaced three bugs invisible on desktop: the page detaching from the layout on a downward swipe, traced after several rounds to iOS Safari's native pull to refresh bounce living outside CSS's reach and fixed by locking html and body in place with scrolling moved into a dedicated inner container, a hero video that took 7 seconds to appear because the script waited for the full page load event and was also serving a 24.6MB HD file to most ordinary 4G connections, fixed by fetching immediately and tightening the HD threshold so a 15.8MB file became the common case, and a header logo quietly rendering as a blank box, traced past a red herring setting to the actual low quality placeholder feature responsible and fixed for both the logo and the ticker icon it was also affecting.
