Arborix Tree Services needed a website that could win tree removal Buffalo NY searches and tree service Rochester NY searches at the same time, across more than 62 communities in Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara and the Finger Lakes region. A single service area page listing sixty towns was never going to rank, so Calibre Associates built a WordPress and Elementor Pro site as a hub and spoke network: 6 service pages, 62 community pages and a handful of supporting pages, all linked to each other and all reachable from a 5 region Locations We Serve mega menu on every page of the site.

Covering 62 plus communities across four regions means the site architecture has to do the heavy lifting. Without a plan, location pages end up thin or near identical, the navigation turns into an unreadable wall of town names, and the page weight needed for a premium design slows everything down. Arborix needed a structure that search engines could crawl and understand in one pass, a menu that real customers could use on a phone, and pages that stayed fast.
We treated site architecture as the main SEO asset. Six services and 62 communities were planned as a hub and spoke model before any page was designed, with strict templates for titles, descriptions, headings and URLs so that every page type follows the same rules. Locations were then grouped into 5 geographic regions so the same structure could drive the navigation, the content and the internal links.
Calibre Associates built the site on WordPress with Elementor Pro and the lightweight Hello Elementor theme. The homepage links to 6 service pages, tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, storm damage cleanup, land clearing and emergency tree service, and each service page links to every community page, while every community page links back to all 6 services. A custom 5 column Locations We Serve mega menu groups the communities into Buffalo and North Towns, Niagara and Northwest, Rochester West, Rochester East and South, and Genesee and Finger Lakes, so every location page receives a crawlable link from every page of the site. On tablet the menu becomes two columns and on mobile it becomes an accordion. Each location page carries unique, community specific content, each page follows a strict one H1, H2, H3 heading template, and every page has a unique title tag, meta description and self referencing canonical. Tej Pratap, Performance Manager at Calibre Associates, led the SEO architecture and performance work on the build.
